Hwange National Park lies +- 2 hours from Victoria Falls and is a fabulous safari destination. Over 100 species of mammals reside here, along with almost 400 bird species. But most impressive is the massive elephant population – around 40 000! With July marking the beginning of the dry season, it’s a great time to visit. Combine your race with some game viewing for the ultimate African marathon experience.
